In a century marked with rapid cultural, political, economic and technological developments, uncertainty about the future and the globalization, traditional academic disciplines fail to address the new needs of the society. Therefore, the need for new interdisciplines becomes even more urgent. Therefore, the new interdiscipline of artistic and cultural management was launched in 2007 as a bachelor’s program by the USC Faculty of Humanity.

It aims to develop artistic and cultural activities, enhance artistic and cultural knowledge, improve the quality of artistic and cultural services and lead to an artistic and cultural development in Iran.

Its graduates would have the opportunity to work as artistic and cultural experts in the organizations and centers engaged in artistic and cultural activities such as Ministry of Culture and Islamic Science, Islamic Development Organization and so on).

The Department of Artistic and Cultural Management has formed a specialized council that offers services to the students.
